A better system?

So I’m up in arms right now. Should I give up on MT, or stick it out and see what it turns out as after the developer editon is out for a while. It seems like a lot of people are switching over to WordPress with the new “MT now costs money thing.” I’m split on what to do. I like a lot of the things about MovableType, but at the same time, WordPress has some advantages too. I guess I’ll just list out all my thoughts here.
with WP everything is done in PHP, there is no need to “rebuild.” This is nice in that all of your pages are updated quick. This can however be a drain on the server and cause the pages to load slowly.
WP has it’s own built-in version of blogrolling. This is what I use for my “other webpages” section, and it would be nice to have this in the blogging software so I only have to go one place to update stuff. However I would have to go in and make all of the links open up in a new window, as they are default set to open in the same window.
If i switch, then I will have to do some major work to reformat my CSS I think. I haven’t really checked it out too much, but it seems like there would be at least some renaming of things.
I’m not sure if all of the things that I do with MT are available on WP. Like the Comment Leaders section, and I know for a fact that the comments aren’t default shown in the post, I’d have to figure all that out again.
So that’s all I can think of for now, but that’s why I’m split on which to stick with. For now, and for as long as my server space will allow, I’ll be running both softwares. You can check out the other one here

What?! First the poll… now Movable type? ::sigh:: I’m definitely up in arms. But you know, I’m a faithful webpage kid, so I say stick with it. Ride it out and see what happens from there.

Uh oh this is a bad sign, first no posting for a long time and now the website looks sick. Oh wait but being the computer genius I am I bet I know why. Its the first day of June and you don’t have the new theme in the right place. So now it has none
