New Job

Well it’s official….. kinda. Technically I won’t be on the Conley payroll until Nov. 1, but I’m down here working for good now. Spending hopefully only a few weeks at the LaQuinta, until Billy and I can find an apartment. It’s tough trying to balance the cost vs. amount of stuff to do, when looking for an apartment. Do we want to live in the middle of nowhere, and have lots of leftover money, or do we want to be in the center of it all, and be too broke to do anything? I guess we’re going to try and go look for places this week. My original idea was to purchase a RV, and just park it in the parking lot. That way if I get transferred, then no big deal, just unhook, and hit the road.
The worst part about being down here is the thought of missing Hokie football. I guess instead of going to the home games, I’ll just have to plan on going to some of the away games. GA Tech, Florida State, Clemson, maybe Wake Forest, NC State. Somehow I’ll find a way to feed my addiction.
