Now that Val is moved down here and all settled in, maybe I’ll have a chance to explore this place I live in a little bit more. It seems like recently all I’ve had time to do is go to work, make dinner, sleep and watch a little bit of TV. Today on the way home Billy and I took a short cut that turned out to be a long-cut, but we did find the closest best buy and waffle house to where we live, so I’d say it was a pretty successful day. We are still without a christmas tree, but hopefully I’ll have that resolved in the next day or two. You can get a six (6) foot tree from walgreens for only 29 bucks, and it’s already got lights on it. With prices like that who needs a real tree? I also need to finish up my christmas shopping, so that I can get it all shipped and here before the day. I’m not doing all of it online, but there is something satisfying about thinking of an idea, and having it purchased all within about ten minutes or so.
