I fought the sun, and the sun won.

Haven’t gotten on here to write anything in a long time, but no one has left a comment in a long time either, so I don’t feel quite as bad. Been staying busy with work and househunting and more recently going to the lake. A friend from work has a boat on Lake Altoona, and I went out on it two times in the past month. This boat has everything: CD player, GPS, Fish Finder, Waterski’s, Wakeboard, Kneeboard, Tube. We went out yesterday and enjoyed the 105 degree weather. We were fortunate not to get rained on, it seems like it rains about every afternoon around here. Anyways, we stayed out on the boat for about eight hours, and my skin is a nice shade of red because of it. I don’t understand it, I used the waterproof sunscreen that was 50 spf, and even re-applied. I guess working inside all week long doesn’t help. I still can get up on two ski’s, but not one. I never was too good at the one ski anyways. Now it’s back to looking for places to live. We just about had the search narrowed down to a small area, then Val got transferred to another branch. It’s probably for the best though, the branch will be closer, so her drive will probably decrease. In other news, wedding plans are coming right along, Val’s doing a good job with all of it. I’d offer to help, but I don’t really know what colors look good with what, so I’m not much help.

Remember the white hiney club? You were a member every summer; it is sad to think those care free summers are over!! I am glad you are getting the opportunity to ski, I miss going.

Good luck on the house hunting. Hope you and Val find just what you want the first time. It has been raining here every afternoon also. Just stay inside where it is cool and you won’t turn red ha

Is Andrew ever going to finish his car story?
I think you should finish it for him or am I the only one who does not know the story.
