Ant Holocaust

Posted by Brian under: Apartment Life; Atlanta .

There was an ant holocaust this weekend at Val’s apartment. Somehow, dozens, hundreds maybe even thousands of ants found their way in through val’s window, down her cd rack, across her playstation two, up her dresser, under her tv, and over to the single source of food in the room, a valentine’s day sucker that had been there since probably February. Val was pretty grossed out, but luckily for her she knows a guy that specializes in torturing and eradicating unwanted insects. That’s a pretty good skill to have considering GA is home to the most bugs and insects ever. Anyways, after a quick trip to Kroger to get some tools of the trade, it was back to Val’s to begin the ant holocaust. They tried to fight back, but were unsuccessful, and in the end we had to go buy a vaccuum to get all the ant carcassas out of there. Other than that it was a pretty typical weekend. Hung out with Shaun and Hannah for a while on Saturday, saw my grandparents on Sunday, and relaxed and stayed out of the heat for the rest of the weekend.

The house search is getting narrowed down, hopefully in a month or two there will be pictures of our new place on here.
