Counting down the hours

It’s probably close enough to start counting down the hours. Let’s see…….. about 43 hours from now, Val and I will be homeowners. Feel free to drop by and bring a housewarming gift. The place that we finally decided on was a nice little two bedroom two and a half bath townhome about 3 miles from where my apartment is now. That means that Val will be close to where her work is, and I”ll be close to the guys that I was carpooling to work with and can continue to do that. Not sure what we are going to do after the home is ours, dance around in the empty house I guess. Both of us have our apartments until the end of November, so the moving process will be gradual. Until we go up at the beginning of November to get a couch, table, and a few other things from Val’s parent’s house, the den will be pretty much empty. Unless of course we get that 42″ DLP TV that I was eyeing the other day in the store. I mean we need a TV right? Why not get one that has high-definition, picture in picture, widescreen, and i’m sure a bunch of other features that I won’t use, but will feel cool telling everyone that I have them. I’ll put up some pictures of the place on Thursday evening. Other than the house news, nothing much new around here. Val and I went to stone mountain a few weekends ago, I need to put up the photos from that. We felt good once we made it to the top of the mountain, but I thought Val was going to kill me about halfway up. We made it though, then walked around, saw the laser light show, and just enjoyed the nice afternoon. I guess a nice fall day doesn’t really happen in Atlanta until the end of October or even the beginning of November. I’m off to cook something for Val, wish me luck!! (or maybe wish her luck, depending on how you look at it. )

Hey there.. too bad you and Val didn’t move to Florida.. I’m now a Florida Mortgage broker.. Tell all your friends! Love ya and can’t wait until the weddding.. can I be the best mandress of honor??
