The Way of the Future, The Way of the Future, The way…..

Ok, even if you don’t get the movie reference in the title of this post, you can still read on. Ebay is the way of the future! What better way to get rid of things you had laying around the house that you didn’t need any longer, but didn’t want to throw away. On Ebay, someone will pay you for your junk, and then thank you for sending it to them. I know I was complaining about Val making me sell all my stuff, but now that I’m getting cold hard cash for it, I don’t seem to mind as much. I’ve turned into the many other Ebay addicts who must rush home because an auction is ending, except I’m rushing home to see what the final sales price for my item was. Granted so far, I’ve only made $88 dollars, but in the next few days I’m slated to make another $120. This is almost easier than working. I’m also trying to resist the temptation to spend my newly earned money on things other people are selling on Ebay. Now what should I sell on Ebay next? hmm……

In other news, We are taking the advice of some of the readers, and teaching Maximus to be an outside cat. Val decided that one boy in the house was enough, so Max and I drew straws, and I get to stay inside. It wasn’t really fair though, since he doesn’t have opposable thumbs, and I had to draw for him. He beat me on the first draw, so I changed it to best two out of three, and he didn’t oppose. Hopefully he won’t freeze outside, I left him a box and a blanket. I figure if homeless people can do it, so can a cat.

Anyways, that’s all for now. Time to go prime the dining room walls for painting. Mom and Dad, Aunt Laurie and Uncle Mark (my free labor), are headed down here this Saturday to help with some painting and wallpapering. I know I said I would put up pictures on here of the new place, but now I’m going to wait until we are done painting. So you will just have to wait a little while longer.

One Comment so far...

In about 20 years from now Val will put you out and keep the cat in. So you better be good to her. HA
