Blowing the dust off this old thing

Posted by Brian under: Webpage .

Three Months with no activity, I’m suprised anyone is left reading this. I didn’t know that between working full time, getting married, and playing online poker, I would have no time to devote to the closest thing I have to a child - This website. It is time that I rededicate myself, and do so with some realistic goals. I will update this site once per week for the next year, and whoever catches me missing a week is entitled to ten dollars of hard earned Brian Painter retirement money. That’s right folks, I’m risking my entire future on this website. I could be penniless in a few weeks if I neglect the site. I guess that means I’ll have to spend more time on here and less time on online poker. Val will surely be dissapointed. She keeps egging me on, encouraging me to play just one more game of poker, in the hopes that I will hit it big and she can retire. Or at least that’s how it goes in my dream.

So now you all have a reason to check back at least once a week.

See you in seven days or less

Here I thought you were getting a life, finally; having no time for the website only to find out you only exchanged working on the website for online poker. Once a computer nerd, always a computer nerd?

Hey I just saw the “World Cup”, or something like that on cable last week…. and a 22 year old (kid) won twenty-some million dollars in that tournament over some Matress King guy. Well, I thought of you sitting in that seat. Oh, it was a good thought until I wondered if the thousands they were throwing in the pot were their own. I guess you’ll have to stay with the $5 dollar table and this website, oh yea, don’t forget about Val.
